As Engineers by Heart we know that getting products and projects off the ground requires much more than a unified market messaging.
A friend of mine shared with me a nice story the other day. He was interviewing for a job in Seattle and during the interview he asked the CEO of the company, why do you want me to relocate to Seattle you must have excellent sales people in your neighbourhood…the CEO replied in a resigned way, “well believe me we’ve tried but those guys can not sell innovation it’s not their core competence, right”.
